TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute man charged with murder in relation to the death of his mother is expected to appear in court Thursday.
Kevin G. Stevenson is expected to appear in Vigo Superior Court 6, Thursday, September 11, for a pretrial conference. Stevenson faces charges of murder as well as a level 3 felony charge of aggravated battery.
According to court documents, in August of 2022, Stevenson reportedly pushed his mother, Etta Stevenson, causing a fracture to the back of her head. Stevenson would later succumb to her injuries and an autopsy determined her death was a murder.
Stevenson will appear in court next for a jury trial on November 3.
