TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Families of Indiana State University students can get a glimpse of college life.
This weekend, ISU is hosting its Family Weekend. Families can visit ISU hotspots, like the fountain, and participate in various campus activities. There’s family night trivia, crafts, photoshoots, bingo, and more.
Also, some academic colleges are holding open houses. This is a chance for family members of ISU students to meet their students’ peers, faculty, and staff in an informal setting.
“It’s one of our favorite times on campus. It’s a great opportunity for families to reconnect with their student. We know that the first few weeks of college is incredibly important as a big transition for both students and families,” said Maribeth Stevens, Vice President for Enrollment Management.
If you’re looking to get off campus, you can check out Music at the Crossroads, located in downtown Terre Haute at North 7th Street.
