VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — UPDATE: According to the Indiana State Police, a male body has been recovered from Paint Mill Lake. The Indiana State Police will be working with the Vigo County Coroner’s Office on getting an identification, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
Divers will be at Paint Mill Lake in southern Vigo County to attempt to locate a victim, following a possible drowning Thursday afternoon, according to Indiana State Police Sergeant Matt Ames.
Sgt. Ames said divers from Indiana State Police and Indiana DNR will be on location Friday.
A death investigation is underway. The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Conservation Officers are assisting ISP with the investigation.
