The Old Town Players Community Theater is showing Grease, The School Edition, with teens from all over the area. According to organizers, this abridged version of the musical Grease, is fun-loving and great for all ages. The event featured songs such as greased lighting, summer nights, look at me, I’m Sandra Dee, and more.
In June, teens audition and practice four nights per week in preparation for showcase nights.
Saturday night, they had their biggest crowd yet with over 180 people, selling completely out and forced to shut the doors. Today, that number was no different.
Lindsey Higgins is playing the part of Betty Rizzo. She says she has been performing here for five years now.

There’s still a chance to see these talented students perform. Their next grease show is August 15 through the 17th. Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm.
