TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Gas prices in Indiana have risen 18.3 cents per gallon in the last week, with an average gallon of gas costing around $3.32, according to a GasBuddy survey.
GasBuddy is an online website and app that tracks gas prices across the United States and Canada.
In their latest price report—which surveyed 3,271 gas stations in Indiana— they found that the average price of gas in Indiana is sitting at about $3.32 per gallon on Monday. This comes out to around 10.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and is 37.7 cents cheaper than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Indiana on Sunday were as low as $2.61 per gallon and as high as $3.99, a difference of $1.38 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline rose 1.2 cents to $3.11 per gallon in the last week, 32.8 cents higher than a year ago.
