TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A death investigation is ongoing after police found an unresponsive female in a pool at a Terre Haute residence.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, at 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, responded to a report of a possible drowning.
Upon arrival, police said first responders located an adult female who was unresponsive in a pool. The female was pulled from the water and pronounced dead.
The Terre Haute Police Department detectives were then called to the scene to investigate. At this time, police said there is no indication of foul play, and the incident remains under investigation by the Terre Haute Police Department and Vigo County Coroner’s Office.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the deceased during this difficult time,” said THPD Detective Josh Loudermilk.
