VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Tuesday evening, Procopio’s Pizza and Pasta hosted a successful Dine to Donate event in partnership with PACE Community Action Agency.
The event ran for 10 hours, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to their Boys and Beyond summer camp program. This program was developed by PACE to work with boys in the 4th and 5th grade, by teaching them life skills. They will learn things like management, responsibility, budgeting, and teamwork. Owners of the restaurant said they feel grateful to be able to help out the community.
“This is near and dear to our heart,” said Co-Owner Kristen Palazzolo. “Procopio’s helped out with Boys and Beyond before. We’ve also been doing fundraising for quite a long time.”
“We see the support we get from the town and the surrounding areas,” said Co-Owner Procopio Palazzolo. “You know, we get tremendous support.”
