MATTOON, Ill (WTWO-WAWV) – The city of Mattoon has issued another unsafe water alert.
According to a Facebook post from the city, the water is again possibly contaminated with a harmful algal bloom.
Do not use tap water for drinking or cooking until further notice. Remember, even boiling the water before consuming will not make the water safe.
This is the second Do Not Drink Order issued by officials in Mattoon this week.
