TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — 12 Points hosted their biggest fundraiser of the year on Saturday.
The annual car show is a chance for the community to showcase their car, meet other car lovers and have a chance to win a raffle and a trophy.
The funds raised from the car show are used to help revitalize the 12-point neighborhood. Maryann Mullen and Saralyn Youngblood have been assisting in the revitalization of 12 points for 7 years, and they said they’ve already seen a difference.
“It’s very nice. It’s a very good feeling because I think a lot of people appreciate what we’re doing,” said Mullen.
The pair says the organization continues with the mission of bringing more people to the 12 Points neighborhood.
“It’s a very historical part of Terre Haute. There is several businesses that have opened up in that area. One of the newest ones is the 12-points market,” said Youngblood.
