ROSEDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A fire Friday afternoon engulfed two garages in Rosedale.
According to the Chief of the Lyford Fire Department, Mark Maden, Lyford Fire was dispatched to South West Street around 3:23 p.m. Chief Maden said when firefighters arrived, they found two neighboring garages on fire. Chief Maden said at least five different fire departments, along with Parke County EMS, came to assist in what resulted in 30 firefighters actively working the incident.
No injuries were reported, and firefighters deployed tactics to keep the blaze from spreading to the homes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
