BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Oakridge Golf Course’s new partnership with Youth on Course, a national non-profit organization, will give kids aged 6-18 years old access to rounds at participating golf courses for $5 or less.
Beginning this summer, Youth on Course members will be able to play at Oakridge Golf Course for just $5 or less during designated times. The golf course said the initiative helps “eliminate financial barriers and promote youth engagement in the game of golf.”
Youth on Course, serves 140,000 young members and offers them caddie opportunities, paid internships and college scholarships.
“We believe golf should be accessible to every young person who wants to learn and play,” said Brian Metz, Owner of Oakridge Golf Course. “By joining Youth on Course, we’re opening our fairways to the next generation and supporting the future of the sport right here in Brazil.”
In addition to the Youth on Course program, Oakridge Golf Course is also offering a year-round Kids Play Free promotion, which allows all junior golfers to play free when accompanied by a paying adult.
The Oakridge Golf Course is located at 9784 N County Rd 300 E, Brazil, Indiana.
