INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indianapolis Indians are hosting a Jewish Community Night on Tuesday night, where Alex Kor will throw out the honorary first pitch.
Alex Kor, son of Eva Kor, will be throwing the first pitch just like his mother did in 2007. The night will feature Jewish music and fun in-game moments. Partners for the event, CANDLES Holocaust Museum, JCC, Chabad of Indiana, and JFGI, will be hosting interactive plaza tables, while educational displays highlight the history of Jewish contributions to baseball.
There is still time to purchase tickets for Tuesday night’s game. Buying a ticket will also directly support CANDLES Holocaust Museum here in Terre Haute. $4 of each ticket from the sales goes to the museum when you buy your tickets using this link. Concessions are also only $1 for the following items:
- hot dogs
- peanuts
- potato chips
- popcorn
- Cracker Jack®
- churros
Gates for the game open at 6 p.m.
