SHOALS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that U.S. Highway 50 will be closing in Martin and Lawrence counties.
The closings are set to start on or around July 14. Crews will be closing U.S. Highway 50 near Shoals and Huron, Indiana. The closure will occur between U.S. Highway 150 and State Road 60. This will allow for crews to begin chip and seal road maintenance.
Work is expected to last for one week depending on the weather. The detour for this project will be State Road 37 to U.S. Highway 150. Local traffic will have access during the course of the project.
