TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— There is a major gas leak in the area of 25th Street, Lafayette Avenue, and Haythorne Avenue.
According to a Facebook post from the Terre Haute Fire Department, residents are being asked to avoid the area. CenterPoint Energy and the Terre Haute Fire Department are in the area working to fix the problem. The Terre Haute Fire Department asks the public not to drive around the barriers for your safety.
