TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Baesler’s Market is hosting a special fundraising event for the Council on Domestic Violence (CODA) in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The community is invited to come to Baesler’s to enjoy a cookout where you can receive a certified Angus beef hamburger or an all-beef hot dog with chips and a drink for $10. All of the proceeds from the cookout will go directly toward funding CODA of the Wabash Valley’s vital programs and services for victims of domestic abuse.
CODA offers a comprehensive range of services in the Wabash Valley, including emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and support groups. These services are all aimed at helping individuals or families escape abusive situations and build a new, safe life.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 17.
