TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Horizon Health is offering a free CPR/AED Class at its Terre Haute-based Sycamore Pain & Wellness clinic.
Horizon Health will be holding a free Heartsaver CPR/AED course from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on November 18. The course is open to the community and teaches basic CPR and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). AED is often used in cases of life-threatening cardiac events.
The course does not include first aid, but a course can be separately arranged. To register for the class, visit this link. A credit or debit card is required for registration and a $25 fee will be charged to reserve a seat. The fee will be refunded upon completion of the course, unless the participant chooses to purchase an optional American Heart Association official CPR/AED certification card.
