TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A 45-year-old man was arrested after allegedly battering and robbing a woman at the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
According to a post on the Vigo County Sheriff’s Facebook page, deputies were called out to the Vigo County Fairgrounds around 8:41 p.m. after reports of a woman who had been battered and robbed. The post states that after a short investigation, deputies identified the suspect as 45-year-old Bobby Brown and where he was located.
Vigo County Sheriff’s said they were able to locate Brown and, after an investigation, arrested him and transported him to the Vigo County Jail. Brown is being charged with robbery, aggravated battery, obstruction of justice, interfering with the reporting of a crime, and criminal mischief.
