LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — UPDATE: According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, the individual believed to be missing has been located and is safe.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help investigating a missing persons case.
Police say 53-year-old Jeffrey Gibson was last seen at his home in southern Greene County back on September 14th. He told a friend in a text message that he was heading to Indianapolis but has not been heard from since.
He’s a white male, 5’11”, 230 pounds.
