TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) —The average price of gas in Indiana has risen 7.7 cents in the last week, but is still 12.3 cents cheaper than this time last year, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy is an online website and app that tracks gas prices across the United States and Canada.
In their latest price report—which surveyed 3,271 gas stations in Indiana— they found that the average price of gas in Indiana is sitting at about $3.10 per gallon on Monday, September 29. Prices are, on average, 20.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Indiana on Sunday, September 28, were as low as $2.62 per gallon and as high as $4.11, a difference of $1.49 per gallon.
The national average price of a gallon of gas fell 5.8 cents to $3.08 per gallon in the last week, 9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
