LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -Linton Municipal Utilities announced the water department is performing scheduled routine maintenance overnight Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Because of that, a boil advisory is in effect for customers until water samples can be gathered and tested. The boil advisory is expected to last until September 24.
Meanwhile, Dugger Union schools are asking parents to send bottled water with their students Tuesday. The elementary school principal says they we were notified of a boil order and the water fountains will not be available to students on Tuesday.
