TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A local high school student will be in the spotlight, performing with the national FFA chorus this fall.
Ava Ingram is a junior at Terre Haute North High School and is a member of the Terre Haute North FFA chapter. She has been selected to be a member of the national FFA chorus and perform at this year’s National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis.
The national FFA organization has over 1,000,000 student members. Ingram said only about 80 students got selected to be part of the chorus. She shares what it was like when she found out she was selected.
“I was really excited,” said Ingram. “It was so surreal because I worked so hard with my voice coaches and my acting coach, and it was amazing.”
The chorus will perform several times during the convention and expo, which runs from October 29th through November 1st.
