INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is seeking applicants for its Engineering Scholarship Program.
The program is looking for eligible undergraduate and graduate students from across the Hoosier state to receive not only financial assistance but also paid employment opportunities. Students must be accepted or enrolled full-time at one of Indiana’s accredited Civil Engineering schools. The program must also be certified by Indiana’s Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Eligible universities include:
- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
- Indiana State University
- Purdue University
- Purdue University Fort Wayne
- Purdue University Northwest
- Trine University
- University of Evansville
- University of Notre Dame
- University of Southern Indiana
- Valparaiso University
The scholarship will offer $3,125 per semester or $2,083 per trimester for up to five years of post-secondary Civil Engineering education. Those funds can be used for educational expenses, fees, and books. Recipients of the scholarship will also be given the opportunity to work at INDOT in full-time, paid positions during summer break and after graduation. Applications for the 2026-2027 school year must be emailed or postmarked by December 31, 2025.
