TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Happening tonight, a local organization is hosting a music festival, with one goal in mind, to help fight childhood cancer.
Running until 8pm tonight, you can still listen to talented local musicians and tackle childhood cancer. This event is hosted by the Patrick S. Barrett foundation, to raise funds for childhood cancer research and treatment at Riley Children’s Hospital.
Located at The Sycamore Farm, this event also has food fresh off the grill provided by Hoosier Smoke and organizers hope to continue this event for years to come.
“So, we’re just doing what we can to do our part. Help families out. Help get our research better,” said co-founder of The Patrick S. Barrett Foundation Greg Barrett.
“And on more of a long-term goal I think that we’d like this to be the first of many years of raising money for the foundation and for cancer research in general,” said entertainment chair, Matthew Westerfield.
