TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — If you were in the Terre Haute on Saturday, you may have noticed hundreds of vintage cars and unique cars on the roads.
That’s because today, was a one-day event many people from across the Wabash Valley, look forward to every year. Bringing Back the Bash kicked off over at The Mill, with all different makes and models of vehicles.
In an effort to help the community, this event is completely free, but all proceeds from shirts and other things sold, go towards supporting local organizations. Reach, Team of Mercy, Happiness Bag, and the Terre Haute Humane Society are a few of the organizations that benefit from this annual event.
What started as a casual hangout, turned into a booming community event, full of memories.
“That’s the best part of this experience is hearing the stories. The love, the passion, and they’re really seeing the sense of community that goes behind it. Like if you notice right now, we’re just getting started and we’re starting to see a lot of people come in and throughout today we’ll have thousands of people,” said Sonny Rooney, Founder of Bringing Back the Bash.
Starting tonight at 7pm these cars will make their trip around the Wabash, coming together to enjoy in community fun.
