TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Terre Haute area women will have the chance to learn defense techniques from a retired Navy SEAL.
The course is called “100 Deadly Skills For Women” and will be taught by retired United States Navy SEAL and author of the book “100 Deadly Skills”, Clint Emerson. The high-impact personal safety training session promises to deliver practical skills and mindset shifts to help women feel safer, become more aware, and more in control, whether at home, in the street, or traveling abroad.
Specific skills included in the course are listed as:
- How to spot, avoid, and defuse potential threats
- Situational awareness and intuition-based defense
- Tools and tactics for everyday safety
- Psychological tricks predators use — and how to beat them
- Travel safety strategies used by elite operatives
- How to physically and mentally prepare for worst-case scenarios
