TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Rev your engines because Bringing Back the Bash is coming back this weekend.
The celebration is inviting families, car enthusiasts, and community members of all ages to enjoy an evening of nostalgia, entertainment, and charity. The event will feature a meet-up style event starting at The Mill, where they will be hosting a Burnout Contest, music/DJ, food trucks, a Kids Play Zone, Jeep Rides, and more. All makes and models are welcome, and the event will continue into the evening with Cruisin’ the Bash beginning at 7 p.m.
Sonny Rooney, event founder, shares the heart behind the celebration:
“Bringing Back the Bash was created four years ago to bring back the nostalgia of cruising down Wabash Ave in our cars, hanging out with friends, and to bring the community together for a fun, safe, and free event for all ages. We also love to give back to the community, so proceeds from sponsorships and event t-shirt sales go to local select charities that are near and dear to our committee.”
2025 event shirts will be available at The Mill under the VIP Racing Fuels tent, and proceeds will go towards the Terre Haute Humane Society, REACH Services, Team of Mercy, and Happiness Bag. The event is free and open to the public
