SHELBURN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A man has been arrested and is being charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting in Shelburn on Wednesday.
According to the Indiana State Police, Conner Fields was arrested on Wednesday by an Indiana State Police Detective on the preliminary charge of attempted murder. Once the Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed the probable cause, it will determine what charges will be filed.
This occurred after a shooting took place on Wednesday afternoon, where a victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds. The gunshot victim was then taken to the hospital via air ambulance. The situation was ruled a domestic incident and no threat to the public.
