TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The health campus at Cobblestone Crossings will be holding a dog show to celebrate National Dog Day on August 26th at 3:00 p.m. at their clubhouse patio.
It is free to the public, and everyone in the community is encouraged to come and show off their furry friends for everyone at Cobblestone Crossings to visit and hang out with. There will be raffles that people can buy tickets for. The tickets will be one dollar each, or people can get six tickets for five dollars. The money raised from these tickets, along with any other donations, will go towards benefiting Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The Terre Haute Humane Society, along with Ollie’s Canine Campus, will be there with dogs people can visit, consider adopting, and learn more about these facilities.
Alexis Waters is the Director of Sales at Cobblestone Crossings, and she mentioned that an event like this will help show what Cobblestone Crossings has to offer.
“We really just want people to see our campus because we know what we can offer and we know that we’re the best in the community,” Waters said. “We just want people to see that for themselves, you know, bringing in, we want to show people all of the amazing things that we do, including the dog show, we host a number of events throughout the year. We want people to continue to join us for those events, and just be a part of our community, because we have so much love to share.”
Waters also mentioned that any human and any dog is welcome to come to the dog show.
“Everyone in the community is welcome,” Waters said. “We encourage everyone to come with all their furry friends and bring any dog, any shape, size, breed, we will welcome them all. Definitely would love to see the diversity of animals because all of our residents are just going to love on them.”
