BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — UPDATE: According to a news release from the Brazil Police Department, the victim was a 51-year-old man, and he was taken to St. Vincent/Clay Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The news release states, “No arrest has been made due to the uncooperativeness of the victim. This isolated incident stemmed from a family dispute. There is no threat to the public.”
Police are on the scene of a shooting that took place on Charles B. Hall Drive in Brazil on Wednesday morning.
According to the Brazil Police Department’s Chief of Police, Clint McQueen, the department responded to the shooting around 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
McQueen said one male is currently being treated for injuries at a local hospital.



At this time, more details on the incident haven’t been released, but McQueen said the scene has been secured and is being processed with assistance from the Indiana State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
