TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana Governor Mike Braun has announced the appointment of three members to the Indiana State University Board of Trustees.
Gov. Braun reappointed John Pratt, of Rockville, and Troy Woodruff, of Fishers, until June 30, 2029. Christian Roembke, of Brazil, was also appointed as the new student trustee.
“I am excited to continue working alongside Trustee John Pratt and Trustee Troy Woodruff, and to welcome our new student trustee, Christian Roembke, to the Board,” said Indiana State University President Mike Godard.
Pratt will serve as Chairperson of the Board, and Woodruff will serve as Vice-Chairperson of the Board for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Roembke will succeed Kate VanHyfte, who recently completed her two-year term as student trustee. Roembke will be a junior this academic year, majoring in chemistry with a pre-medicine concentration. He will serve as student trustee until June 30, 2027.
“The leadership and insight of our trustees are vital as we align Indiana State’s degrees with the evolving needs of Indiana’s workforce,” said Godard. “By ensuring that every graduate is equipped with the skills, experiences, and connections to thrive in high-demand fields, we not only transform individual lives but also strengthen industries, drive innovation, and fuel the economic growth of our state.”
