TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Football season is right around the corner, and the Indiana State Sycamores are looking to improve on their 4-8 season last year with a slate of games that includes a September showdown against Indiana State University.
Here is a look at all the out-of-conference games the Sycamores have scheduled for the 2025 season:
- McKendree University at Indiana State University – August 28 at 6 p.m.
- Eastern Illinois University at Indiana State University – September 6 at 1 p.m.
- Indiana State University at Indiana University – September 12 at 6:30 p.m.
- Indiana State University at University of Montana – September 20 at 3 p.m.
After playing the Grizzlies in Missoula, Montana, in September, the Sycamores will then take on their peers in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, where they finished 7th in the conference last year with an abysmal 3-5 record.
Here is a look at the final eight conference games for Indiana State in 2025:
- Indiana State University at Southern Illinois University – October 4 at 7 p.m.
- University of South Dakota at Indiana State (Homecoming) – October 11 at 1 p.m.
- North Dakota State University at Indiana State University – October 18 at 1 p.m.
- Indiana State University at the University of North Dakota – October 25 at 4 p.m.
- Indiana State University at South Dakota State University – November 1 at 3 p.m.
- Illinois State University at Indiana State University – November 8 at 1 p.m.
- Indiana State University at Youngstown State University – November 15 at 12 p.m.
- Murray State University at Indiana State University – November 22 at 1 p.m.
The Sycamores will also have five games featured on ESPN+, including their games against McKendree University, Eastern Illinois University, University of South Dakota (Homecoming), Illinois State University and Murray State University. Their game against the Indiana University Hoosiers will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.
