TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The city of Terre Haute is holding multiple events during the first weekend in August to provide free resources to the community.
The first of the events will take place on August 1, called First Friday: Visibility Day. They will also be giving out free school supplies. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 12 Points.
Saturday will play host to two different events. One will be a free Pop-Up Clinic being held by Remote Area Medical. The clinic will be offering free medical, dental, and vision services. There will also be a Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The care will be first-come, first-served and will be held in the parking lot of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. Spot numbers are non-transferable, and the patient must be present. The clinic opens at 6 a.m.
The other event being held on Saturday is We Live 2025. The event promises free food, haircuts for children, school supplies, t-shirts, a resource fair, a bike giveaway, and more. This event will take place at the Spencer Ball Park from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
