LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Thursday evening, local tornado survivors came together for a heartfelt dinner hosted by Greene Action Impact Network and two local churches.
The event was held at Saron United Church of Christ, offering a space for healing, connection, and community support. Invitations were extended to survivors of the recent tornado, as well as representatives from volunteer organizations.
The dinner aimed to provide a chance for survivors to connect with one another, share their experiences, and build relationships with local support groups.
“You think something like this will never happen and when it happens to your town you have to come together and support each other. So, if we can come together tonight, support each other and create some kind of connection,” Event Coordinator Tiffany Todd said.
For those who are looking for more support, they can join the Greene County Long-Term Recovery Facebook group.
