VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced an upcoming road closure for folks traveling near Vincennes.
The closure is scheduled for State Road 441/Vigo Street in Knox County, in Vincennes. The work is scheduled to begin on or around August 1 and will close the road from 2nd Street to 6th Street.
The closure will allow crews to perform milling and pavement work on the roadway. INDOT has stated that the work will take around a week to complete, depending on the weather. Traffic will have access to the road up until the point of closure.
INDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention when traveling through work zones.
