TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Remote Area Medical is holding a free dental, vision and medical clinic at Terre Haute South this weekend.
Remote Area Medical (RAM) says they are holding this pop-up clinic to address the urgent issue of uninsured or underinsured Americans. The clinic will provide free dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on site, women’s health exams and general medical exams to those who might otherwise go without these essential services.
The RAM clinic is in collaboration with Richard G. Lugar Center for Rural Health and will be open August 2-3, at Terre Haute South High School. No Insurance or ID is required, and it is open to anyone in need.
The parking lot for the clinic will open no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday night, August 1, and will remain open for the duration of the clinic. Once in the parking lot, patients will receive information regarding clinic processes and next steps.
Sunday’s clinic operations will be an abbreviated day, so patients are advised
to arrive as early as possible.
