VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local non-profit that offers a variety of services to the community announces it will no longer offer its Health Insurance Navigator Program.
Pace Community Action Agency in Vincennes said it had to make the difficult decision to stop offering this service due to funding. The program helped people navigate the health insurance marketplace.
The agency said this change takes effect immediately.
“The things that are going on right now with funding being so uncertain really cause us to have to look at all of our programs and services and see what makes sense for us to continue providing and where maybe we can trim some areas but not lose the connection to the community and not lose offering the vital services that we do funding is just so uncertain right now” said Tai Blythe CEO of Pace Community Action Agency.
She added that there are still other resources in the community that will offer this service. Pace has a list of those resources online; you can find those by clicking here.
