SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — One woman was taken by helicopter after a one-vehicle accident in the early morning hours on Monday.
According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office, the incident happened around 12:45 a.m.
According to Sheriff Jason Bobbit, 67-year-old Carol Fleming from Shelburn crashed into a car parked on the south side of Jackson Street near S.R. 48 in Hymera at a high rate of speed.
The reason for the accident is unknown at this time, but officials said it may have been due to a medical episode.
