BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A 36-year-old described as a transient was arrested Wednesday for a shooting that took place last month.
Jerry L. Jackson was arrested for the shooting that took place in the 4600 block of College Drive on June 18. Jackson allegedly shot at two victims in the middle of the night. The two victims were treated at the hospital and released. Both victims are expected to recover.
Jackson was taken into custody by the Bloomington Police Department and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Critical Incident Response Team without incident. Jackson has been booked into the Monroe County Jail on charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
