VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County Fair is in full swing. In addition to the rides, fair food, and grandstand events, it’s also a time for 4-H members to show their animals and display their showmanship skills.
WTWO caught up with Reagan Bowman, who is in her sixth year of showing swine. She said 4-H teaches members leadership skills and work ethic. She said her favorite part is the community.
“All of the ribbons and banners fade at some point, but the friends that I made when I was five years old are still my best friends today,” said Bowman.
The Vigo County Fair runs through Saturday, July 12, at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds.
