TERRE HAUTE (WTWO/WAWV) – Great news for all of you who have been craving waffle fries or a crispy chicken sandwich – Chick-fil-A has reopened!
According to their Facebook, “Surprise, Terre Haute… we’re BACK! We planned for a soft opening, but you noticed—and we couldn’t be more excited to serve you again! Your support means the world, and our team is ready (and thrilled!) to welcome you through the doors. Come see what we’ve been working on—we’ve missed you!”
The popular southside restaurant has been closed since May 30 for a remodel. At that time, Kathy McCloy explained the project to WTWO.
“We had some small renovations in 2020, just more cosmetic stuff to update the look of the building and inside, but this is more structural,” said McCloy. “Just some things that need to happen to better serve our guests and the flow of traffic through the drive-through…. We run an average speed of service here at the restaurant of about 3 and 30 seconds and we do have a long line sometimes cause of the number of people that dine here, but this will allow for more cars to fit through the drive through and just a faster flow on the food delivery side.”
