TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Jewish Motorcycle Alliance is traveling across the U.S. and Canada as part of the North America Holocaust Museum Tour.
The tour will bring the alliance to visit 21 holocaust museums to honor the memory of the Holocaust and promote education, awareness, and resilience. The Jewish Motorcycle Alliance describes the event as “a fundraiser for the museums, an awareness project, and a National PR event for the JMA.”
As part of the tour, bikers with the JMA will carry a specially commissioned art piece titled “The Circle of Chai,” symbolizing the Jewish people’s perseverance through 5,700 years of adversity.
“The Circle of Chai” will be ceremonially passed to the next group of bikers at each museum. The stop for CANDLES Holocaust Museum will be at 11:00 a.m. on July 13.
