PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A single vehicle crash in Parke County involving a car driving head-on into a tree resulted in the driver being lifelined to an Indianapolis hospital.
According to Parke County Sheriff Jason Frazier, a vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. 41 North, near Coxford Road, left the roadway and collided with a tree head on, late Friday morning.
The driver of the vehicle had to be extricated from the vehicle and was then lifelined to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
