SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Sullivan County Community Hospital celebrated Monday the completion of a new addition to its health campus.
The Health Annex is a 30,000 square-foot medical office building that will house pain management, orthopedics, foot and ankle, as well as family practice. CEO Michelle Franklin said the new space provides a great opportunity for the hospital to expand its services and continue to recruit providers.
“We’re so excited about this building. It’s really beautiful and we’re excited to get all our staff and our providers over here and let them experience a new facility to start practicing, so very exciting,” said Franklin.
She added that work on this project started in the fall of last year. Franklin estimates that the new building will probably serve between 150 to 200 patients a day.
