INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Students from the Drug-Free Vigo County Coalition visited the statehouse this week, meeting with State Senator Greg Goode of Terre Haute.
Goode welcomed the group to the Senate chamber, applauding their efforts to fight substance abuse through education and community action. He called them “great representatives” of the Wabash Valley and thanked them for their commitment to a healthier Vigo County.
Drug Free Vigo County works to prevent alcohol and substance abuse through education, local needs assessment, and strategic planning.
Senator Goode represents District 38, which includes Vigo, Clay, and a portion of Sullivan County.
