PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A mudslide on U.S. 41 between Sugar Creek and Sugar Mill Bridge early Tuesday morning closed the road down.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation’s (INDOT) Public Relations Director, Blake Dollier, the mudslide occurred around 5:30 a.m., Tuesday. Dollier said the road was closed down for an hour to allow for plows to clear the mud and the road has now been reopened.
