TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is looking for this year’s group of young leaders, as nominations are now open for this year’s “12 Under 40” awards.
The annual award, co-sponsored by the Tribune-Star, honors young professionals under 40 years old who are making a difference at work and in the community.
Winners will be recognized at the chamber’s annual meeting on August 21 and will be featured in a special publication.
The Chamber of Commerce’s President, Kristin Craig, said this award is all about recognizing young talent.
“We’re always looking for people who go above and beyond whether that be in their personal life or in their professional life. Whatever the case, people who are really giving back to the community and unique and creative ways and again are just going above and beyond, those are the kinds of people we want to honor with this award,” said Craig.
Nominations are due by July 15th. Nominees must live or work in West Central Indiana and be under 40 by January 1, 2026.
