TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An event taking place next weekend, will promote a program combating food insecurity in Vigo County.
On June 18, a community event called “Twilight in the Garden” will be held at the Vigo County Fairgrounds. The event will feature guest speakers, teaching how you can plant your garden to benefit pollinators in the area.
It will also include a tour of the fairgrounds Giving Garden.
“This event is really important to showcase the garden and everything it does for our community but also encourage others to work with their community partners and get out there and be active in the community,” said Tabby Flinn, Agriculture and Natural Resource Educator.
