VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced a temporary road closure on U.S. 150 near Marion Heights in Vigo County.
INDOT said beginning on or after Monday, June 9, crews will begin repairing concrete underneath the U.S. 150 railroad bridge.
The official detour around the closure follows U.S. 150 to Pennington Road to S.R. to U.S. 40 to U.S 150. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternative route and to use cation while traveling in and around the work zones.
INDOT anticipates the construction will last a few weeks, but it is weather-dependent and subject to change.
