PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Three people have been arrested after police said they allegedly stole over $14,000 of property from a Rosedale residence.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, on May 25, the sheriff’s office received a report of a burglary at 33 North West Street in Rosedale. Officials said numerous personal belongings, including a motorcycle, multiple household items and an outboard boat motor, had been stolen from the house.
Police said a trail of evidence then led them to find the stolen items.
“A trail of evidence led from the property to a neighboring residence at 84 W Central St, where items belonging to the victims were observed in plain view,” said the Parke County Sheriff’s Office in a social media post.
As a result of the investigation, Kimberly Evans, 57, Stacey Evans, 36, and Clyde D. McManaway, 52, were arrested and charged with burglary, a level 5 felony. Evans was also charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
The Parke County Police ask if anyone with information related to this case or the sale of the outboard motor or any other items, to contact the sheriff’s office.
