VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A community event called Twilight in the Garden will be held at the Vigo County Fairgrounds on June 18.
The event will feature guest speakers teaching you how to plant your garden to benefit pollinators in the area.
The event will also include a tour of the Wabash Valley Master Gardener’s Giving Garden.
“Great, wonderful garden. It’s called the Giving Garden and the Master Gardeners maintain it to grow produce for our local community in need, so that food gets distributed through lots of our food pantries and soup kitchens. It also goes toward some teaching classes on how to eat healthy,” said Tabby Flinn, Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for Vigo County Purdue Extension.
The event runs from 5:30pm to 8:30pm June 18. A tent will be set up at the Giving Garden for attendees to listen to the guest speakers.
Tickets are $10 until they run out, so people should register online here: https://wvmga.org/
